The first day out on the sea. This morning is a little cloudy, but I know it’s going to be serious. Under the boat stays pretty busy. We find a school of small, brightly colored baitfish finding safety under the boat as we cruise along. My first time seeing deep blue water, and it’s amazing. You can see yards down pretty easily.
Our day begins on a pretty high note when Stephen spots a group of dolphins heading our way. The pair of dolphins get seem to get a kick out of the boat, or are getting a kick out of us being giddy running around the boat to get good pics of them. They end up kicking it with us for a couple of hours. If it weren’t for the good progress we’re making as the storm approaches, I wouldn’t mind taking a dip and seeing how we interact. I’m sure they’ll be plenty of time for that soon.

We dodge another couple of storms, just barely. I’m a fan of the name change to: Unsinkable Storm Dodger! Gotta respect the systems that start to develop right in front of you. We catch the tail end of some serious storms and I’m grateful.
